Time defined widget overlay
It would be useful to enable widget OVERLAY during only one video or exact period in show. Now overlay can be presented during whole show as second overlay playlist or between two items without overlay...

hidden menus when user hasn't rights
hide menus when a user does not have permission to access them instead of having the menu displayed with the message "you do not have rights to access them"

Not all advertisers provide commercials with high-quality sound. Export Player Details to CSV - and/or allow more columns with status information to be added to the player list
We need a way to export player details to csv. For instance, I might want to export a list of our players and see what their resolutions are, fimware version, etc...
5 votesThis is useful, especially when you have more than 5-10 Players. For sure, we will provide the option to select which columns you want to see, and CSV export does not sounds so bad either.

Implement OSC (Open Sound Control) commands
It would be great to have options to trigger events in Yodeck. For example, showing a normal slideshow, but with the push of a button show specific content. OSC is a great protocol for this and more and more apps and programs 'speak' OSC. So by adding a OSC library to the Raspberry image of Yodeck and by implementing some OSC commands (interrupt current show to play show X or videofile Y once) would be perfect.

Add repeat every Sunday Monday Tuesday ETC to Media - Advanced features
When editing Media under advanced features it would be very helpful to have it repeat every Monday so that our customers can post Monday's menu to the playlist and have it play every monday.

Hourly repetitive schedule request
Easily schedule media repetitive playback on the hourly basis. It would be great to schedule a photo or video to repeat onece or more times per hour, without having to manually create such a schedule. For example, Photo 1 would display every hour on a ceratain day for 5 mi utes at 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Then again at 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, etc. This would be great for restaurants or similar establishments to “inject” a advertisement as needed.

Support for pushing content from 0365 ( stream, Sharepoint list, Calendar, Planner)
Office 365 is a source of most of our data, it would be great to be able to connect a data source and display in a template either a video from Stream or a planner or selected fields form a SharePoint list. Need a way to use a service account to connect to O365 and then companies could pull from libraries and have their own approval processes for slides and content upload.

Manage email alerts on a per player basis
I have a testbench yodeck player that may not be online 24/7 (sits on my desk to test when needed). It would be nice to be able to turn off offline alerts for specific players, like my testbench player, but keep other player's alerts on.
12 votesThis makes 100% sense, and there are many cases. To name a few:
- “on-off” test players
- “known problems”, like a Player that is offline and it is actually OK to be so, e.g. due to known internet issue at the installation site
- sites where the power to the Player is cut off every nightWe are planning to support the option to mark an offline Player as “OK” until a given date or until it comes back online, so that notifications and stats are kept clean.
Concerning on-off Players, we could provide an option for customizing the timeout per Player for sending an email (currently fixed at 5 hours and 24 hours). An even more complex option would be to use a Schedule for determining when a Player should be online, but I think this would be overly complex and would not provide any significant advantage over…

Email alert on high temp readings
I recently discovered what a thermometer icon in the upper right hand corner meant. As my screens are in multiple locations, I was unaware that a device was experiencing a temperature threshold. This is not apparent in the GUI at all.
Can this alert email the administrators?
Can this reading be made available in the online GUI?11 votesFirst, keep in mind that this icon indicates that the device is overheated so it is being throttled down (lowering performance) in order to prevent the temperature from rising. This has a performance hit, but it does not affect reliability severely. So, we do not consider it a critical issue. You have “hot” devices running, and they will work fine throttled.
The device temperature is available in the “Status” tab in the Monitor details of the Yodeck portal, so it is actually available in the UI.
It does make some sense to warn the user, since the overheating can be managed so that there is no performance hit. We are planning to create a kind of message centre inside the app to provide important messages to Users, which could include some device status alerts. I am marking this suggestion as “Accepted” and we will investigate when this message center is…

Restrict Media to specific time
I want to build a tag based playlist, where in the morning comes picture A and in the evening picture B. I can them both with "Tag Morning" and "Tag Evening". And build two playlists. But i think it can be easier to set a time or date range, like in the scheduler, right in the media settings. So that Picture A is only showed in the morning.

Play ads based on CPM
Allow us to set a specific number of times an ad will play. For CPM we sell ads based on the 1000 impressions. With your system I am only able to put it up based on date, not number of times it plays.

User Manuals based on user permissions
Have a link on the users dashboard for the Yodeck user manual, but have it only display information relevant to the users permissions.
We are on the enterprise plan with multiple users with different permissions, that have no idea how to use yodeck. I am having to go through and copy all the links in the user manual that are only relevant to their permissions....essentially making a tailored user manual for everyone which gets pretty tedious.
