Good afternoon. We use the Yodeck platform. Very satisfied. We ask you to resolve the issue. Create a schedule for adjusting the brightness of the image on each player. (It is very important for LED screens so as not to dazzle drivers) Thank you.

I would like to be able to show the schedule on the screen. Perhaps this would be a widget. AKA 5 videos are set to playback on todays schedule and I would like to show the schedule on my playlist.

Make Youtube live stream in the form of youtube.com/channel/[channel id]/live recognisable by Yodeck
If you want to add a live stream, like a weekly stream to the playout, you cannot use the permanent live link availible from the channel id. So you have to edit the link every time (week). And with recent changes to youtube live it seems to be more difficult to get the link beforehand.

"Screensaver" mode playlist
Our proposal is to create a "screensaver" that works when a playlist
is emitting exclusively web content with Yodeck and through a touch
screen.Since touch web content requires physical actions by the user and it
is not always interacting with the screen, it would be very convenient
to launch a playlist with audiovisual content as a screensaver when a
period of inactivity has elapsed without the user touching the screen.6 votes -

Length of Video Media
Would be nice to see the length of a video from the folder view.
5 votesIndeed, provide metadata for Media would be really useful. Besides video duration, it would be really useful to also know video resolution, FPS, download size, average bitrate, etc.
Our encoding backend has been modified to provide all of this information to the Yodeck Portal. So, this will be provided soon.

Undo all changes since "Submit to Players?" was last clicked
Sometime, you do something and "Submit to Players?" turns red. And you log in a few days later, feeling nervous about what you actually did and why that button is red. It would be great if you could undo all the changes made on an account and revert it back to the last time the "Push to Players?" button was clicked, so it would "put out" the red button.
Initial Idea Submitted was: "Trash option for deleted media, playlist and shows. It gives the oportunity to restore back links which you delete accidentally."
5 votesWhile the initial idea of a trash bin for object is difficult to implement and has several implications, the current idea is very useful and will provide an extra level of safety for what is displayed on screen.
Also, it will eliminate the need for the automated email that are send to users leaving the “Push to Players?” button unclicked.

Sound Check.
Adjust Sound of video clips to the same level, this will be helpful when you insert several music videos for example from youtube, so you get similar or same level of all videos.

1) provide a volume slider in each video entry, so that you can differentiate volume per Media
2) normalize volume for all MediaBoth ways are right now unknown, and we have not had enough testing to say if any of the two is feasible. As soon as we do, we will update you here.

This feature request has several implications.
First of all, it has little to do with CEC. The same request could be asking for USB IR remotes (which are internally handled by Linux as keyboard presses).
Right now, our playback engine is fully automated. This means that, you cannot affect the playback status of a playlist (move forward, backwards, etc). But, we plan to refactor the Player shortly to allow for different Playlist management.
So, while this is not a core-feature to add, it will probably be possible to add it via a Custom Widget. So, we will leave it here to check it out when the time comes.

You can stream online the output of a Player, using an HDMI streamer and YouTube Live. Is this what you need?

Implement OSC (Open Sound Control) commands
It would be great to have options to trigger events in Yodeck. For example, showing a normal slideshow, but with the push of a button show specific content. OSC is a great protocol for this and more and more apps and programs 'speak' OSC. So by adding a OSC library to the Raspberry image of Yodeck and by implementing some OSC commands (interrupt current show to play show X or videofile Y once) would be perfect.

Export Player Details to CSV - and/or allow more columns with status information to be added to the player list
We need a way to export player details to csv. For instance, I might want to export a list of our players and see what their resolutions are, fimware version, etc...
5 votesThis is useful, especially when you have more than 5-10 Players. For sure, we will provide the option to select which columns you want to see, and CSV export does not sounds so bad either.

Changes Summary Box Before Pushing to Payers
Please add a summary box indicating the changes done before pushing to the players, sometimes other users make changes and forget to push them and when another user logins they see the push to players indicator button flashing and they don't know what changes where made, so it will be useful to have a reference what where the changes made that wherent submitted, thank you.

Allow "Offline" alerts to be send to a different email address per screen
It would be a good feature to set an email address for each of the Players. We have players all over the country in different locations. All the "Offline" Status emails get sent to one email address. It would be a lot better if this email could be sent to per person per player so they can deal with it, saving us some time.
