Show Preview

Show preview capability would be an amazing help. Right now there's no way to see a show without pushing it to a real monitor.

We will be providing 2 distinct features for accommodating this need:

First, we will allow paid accounts to use an extra (free) test Monitor. This test monitor will regularly show an overlay of the Yodeck logo on top of content, so it will not be suitable to be used as public display. It will be used solely for testing out changes to Monitors before pushing.

Then, we will be developing a full-fledge Web Player. This Web Player will have a unique URL which you will be able to open up on any browser. From that point on, you will be able to manage content displayed as with any other Pi-based Player. We will then use this Player to also display a one-time preview of the Show.

Hope this works for all of you guys. Please be kind enough to leave a comment if you think otherwise.

Sounds great with the Web Player. When will those features be available? In our case, our office is located far way from the screen, so without a preview monitor we can't really dare to publish anything, unless we go on location to upload content... Thanks for updates!

        Option 2 sounds amazing.
With option 1 - we will need another Pi... correct?
