I use pixie editor as a template creator, I edit a background image in which I will create text boxes and add an image of a product
but we can not rename layers, so we end up with multiple layers that we can not differentiate unless you turn them on / off.2 votes -

I use pixie editor as a template creator, I edit a background image in which I will create text boxes and add an image of a product.
But we could not import images from the Media but only load from the computer. It would be nice if we could uplaod images files already presents in the Media directory (like the Media button in Show Editor), it would save time and be able to easily change image if necessary.2 votes -

I’d like to have tag filtering in the “Playlist Details” page to aid in playlist creation.
I’d like to have tag filtering in the “Playlist Details” page to aid in playlist creation. I have both vertical and horizontal media tags set up. Filtering by the tag will minimize errors in picking media in the wrong aspect radio versions

Display Count of Images / Notices
when there are many messages or images to be displayed, in between displaying one item to second item, it should display count or seq. no. like how we print on pages i.e. page 1/10, page 8/10 etc.

Countdown Timer - More Options
I would love to see the ability to make changes to what is displayed on the countdown timer widget. More specifically, the ability to remove the seconds from the timer so that it counts down by minute.

Email Updates
Would it be possible for you to email up and coming firmware updates (with changelog) and scheduled maintenance to the portal please?
6 votesConcerning scheduled maintenance, we have a standard 6-week release cycle, so scheduled downtime is usually fixed. You can add our Yodeck calendar to your calendar using this link:
We do post an in-app notice for downtime of the Yodeck portal usually 24-48 hours in advance. We are planning to create a Status Page as well that will include a detailed health report of our platform along with scheduled maintenance notices, suing statuspage.io, which provides something like this: https://status.dropbox.com/
Also, we are planning to include some sort of in-app message center that will also include changelog notices and other important messages that users might need to read.
Hopefully, both the Status Page and the in-app message centre will be available within this year.

Protected variables (passwords) for web script engine
The web script engine is great but it requires plain text passwords. It would be great if you could enter protected variables in another box/field (and once entered they are not visible to anyone anymore - you can only override them with a new value) that you can then use in the script as "variable1". Then you would no longer need to enter plain text passwords in the web script field.

Ability to notify users of new content in media for their use.
We have multiple workspaces/users/screens across our enterprise. We would like to automatically notify users of new content being added to the Media gallery.
4 votesIndeed, the “workflow” part of Workspaces needs a bit of polishing.
However, implementing your suggestion would be a bit complex. Yodeck cannot tell when you are done adding Media on the Media Gallery. And if you work a lot on Media, this can be annoying, and at the end, could be just ignored by people.
Perhaps it would make sense to be able to explicitly send a predefined message (e.g. “New Media Available”, of course being editable) to all people on a Workspace.

Improved Widgets & Widget Themes
Improved Widgets.
I'd like to see the widgets be developed with a little more depth. They are nice, but sometimes they don't really work the way one would expect them to. Not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to have really polished options when it comes to widgets.

10 votesWe are in the process of building an internal design team that will help with the look and feel of Widgets. We are planning to build something like “themes” so that Widgets can adhere to specific fonts, styles, etc, so that adding multiple Widgets will have some consistency.

Easier Workspace Management
Workspaces are great for isolating who can access what, but they are tough to work with.
It would be really nice if there was a “workspace view” that you could toggle to wherever there are workspace objects.
For example – under VIDEO MEDIA, when you select “workspace view” it would list all the video files, one per row, but the columns become each workspace (that you have correct permissions for) with a set of radio buttons across the row

Then you could quickly change the workspace assignment of items – and could easily view what is in each workspace…3 votesIt does make sense to have a “Workspace” column when you select “All Workspaces”. This way, you can easily see which Media belong to which Workspsace. However, the radio-button thing is not a good thing. Imagine we have customers with hundreds of Workspaces. Given a Media can only be part of a single Workspace, it does not make match sense to provide such a “grid”. Just a column with the Workspace name would be enough.
I am marking this idea as accepted concerning the “Workspaces” column for all entity listings.

Support for pushing content from 0365 ( stream, Sharepoint list, Calendar, Planner)
Office 365 is a source of most of our data, it would be great to be able to connect a data source and display in a template either a video from Stream or a planner or selected fields form a SharePoint list. Need a way to use a service account to connect to O365 and then companies could pull from libraries and have their own approval processes for slides and content upload.

Live Video Time Limit/ End Duration
Be able to set a time limit on a live video. If I put a live video in my playlist, it will never go to the next piece of media in my playlist. I want to be able to put it in for a specific number of seconds/ mins
