There are a lot of ideas for Widgets. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to create all of the Widgets that our customers need. That is why we provide the ability to create your own Custom Widget:
https://www.yodeck.com/docs/display/YO/Custom+Widget+Developer%27s+Guide
The Widget you are proposing can be easily created. Within the Widget UI, you would enter the name and birthday of each employee and the Widget would display it easily.
Reach out if you need help with the development. We are marking this as “under review” only to keep this request and see if it can get more traction down the road.

Sounds reasonable. We need to review if this would be possible.

We have released a new feature called Tag Playlists. You assign Media with Tags and then you can create dynamic Playlists using combinations of Media Tags. Then, when you upload a Media, you also add the required Tags, so that they get pulled into the Tag Playlists.
That might work in your case.
In the long run, we are also planning to provide Folder-based Playlists, so that all Media in the specific Folders are automatically included in a Playlist.

Just write first and last name in a text widget...
The idea is perhaps an "automatic" widget that takes from an excel file or database based on the day. For me I found this solution at the moment: a php web page that takes from an excel file and then I display the page with a widget in Yodeck.
It would be very helpful to have the possibility to load the excel file directly in Yodeck and set up a widget that automatically takes data from this file.
