Our whole backend (server) provides an RESTful HTTP API. This is currently used only by our UI, the User Interface that our users see on their screen.

This API needs to be documented and polished up, but it is (more or less) already usable for special purposes. We will just provide you with a access token.

We are planning to release a fully documented API spec within Q2-2017.

2 Years no Progress in Documenting the API? We are Yodeck Users and need to Programatically Change the Show, Content etc. needs to be displayed. I.e.The Displays Should turn Red and show the Alert State of a running Incident.

We really want to push this from the alert systems. Should Zapier the direction to go ?

We do plan to provide a Yodeck Player app for Android. As you may understand, this requires a lot of effort. So, it might take several months until it gets completed. We target the end of 2017 for a first version, but it may well be 2018 until it gets released.

There is the confirm dialog anyway, so some stats about the push should be easy to include:

    - Number of monitors affected eventually by Workspace?
    - Number of New Downloadable Objects
    - eventually total size?

As they are in a queue anyway, may a queue view would be interesting as well?

After some days on Yodeck I would suggest the size should be the same as the schedule month view, this gives room for the right sidebar with the layers and renders the same UX as the Schedule has.

at least webfonts should be supported, Fontbook from mac could be complicated I assume.

In the mood of that, the Font widgets should have the same UX and rendering capabilities across all widgets,

This makes 100% sense, and there are many cases. To name a few:

    - “on-off” test players
    - “known problems”, like a Player that is offline and it is actually OK to be so, e.g. due to known internet issue at the installation site
    - sites where the power to the Player is cut off every night

We are planning to support the option to mark an offline Player as “OK” until a given date or until it comes back online, so that notifications and stats are kept clean.

Concerning on-off Players, we could provide an option for customizing the timeout per Player for sending an email (currently fixed at 5 hours and 24 hours). An even more complex option would be to use a Schedule for determining when a Player should be online, but I think this would be overly complex and would not provide any significant advantage over…

    Disable Monitoring Notification per Monitor.

If you have part time Monitors, i.e. a 7" RasPi Screen which moves around the desks, We wont be bothered with Offline Notifications.
