If you want to use this for turning the beamer on/ and off, then you can create a custom power script. Whenever the “Turned Off” special Show is used, you would set the GPIO pin accordingly. Here are the details: https://www.yodeck.com/docs/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=327908
Overall, we plan to provide access to GPIO pins through Custom Widgets, so we are keeping this idea as accepted,

Has GPIO support been added? I would also really appreciate this.
I see it listed as being supported, however I cannot find documentation as to how this can be done through the custom HTML widget.
As an alternative if a python script could be accessed and ran from the HTML widget which uses the GPIO pins, that would be great.
