My impression is that all media is pushed to all players. My most dynamic player may be overloading other players within my account that have a much simpler scope.
One player is a communication piece with multi media content. Other players are simple static images (digital menus.) Why push all the multimedia on to these simple scope devices?1 vote
Players only download Media that they need to playback. Not ALL media from the account is downloaded to ALL Players. So, the behavior you are describing is exactly the behavior Yodeck provides.
Closing this suggestion as “Completed” since this is the behavior currently.
We are planning to use Yodeck on big LED displays which are built with 32x32 modules. It works fine otherwise, but it's not very intuitive if aspect ratio does not match on the Show editor.
For example, display has 480*96 resolution. This is 16:3.2 .. Yodeck has choices 16:4.5 and 16:3, which means 480x135 or 480x90. When editing with 16:4.5, you have to remember not put anything on the bottom or it won't be visible.
So, why can't I set the aspect ratio to any custom values?3 votes
Support for custom aspect ratios has been released. It should make managing non-typical screens, video walls, and LED matrix displays much easier.
We should have the Status of the content downloading to the player, Now its highly uncertain to know when it can happen.1 vote
There is now a new icon in the “Monitors” listing that indicates the Content status on each Player. This allows you to see if everything is alright and Players have the latest content, even if they are currently offline.

Info about the CSS customization1 vote
We provide full CSS customization. Out of the box, this is available as a feature to our Whitelabel reselling partners, so that they can use their own branding. We do not see frequent requests on CSS customization by direct customers for their own organization.
I am closing this request as completed, since it is already possible. If you need CSS customization, reach out to our tech support with your request and we may be able to accommodate it.
Would it be possible to add an "Duplicate screen" button to the Monitor page? This way the settings could be copied form an existing screen. The name and registration number for the new screen could be given for example in an popup dialog.3 votes
This is now available! You can duplicate Monitors to copy all configuration and useful information when creating new screens.
I would like to set a custom script (Advanced Player Directives) for multiple displays with one command.3 votes
This is now available! You can bulk-edit this field as any other configuration field of Monitors.
Countdown timer Widget12 votes

If I can save videos in subfolders, I should be able to access those subfolders when making playlists. Otherwise, whats the point of subfolders?1 vote
You need to enable the “Folder View” toggle on the top-right corner of the Playlist editor.
Go ahead and edit a playlist. If you enable the "Folder View toggle while in the editor, you will see a different user interface that allows you to use folder and manage higher number of Media easily.
It would be great to have remote access to the pi OS via the web portal (piSignage supports it).
Sometimes I need to reboot, or remotely shut down, and there's no way at the moment.28 votes
Users now have a “Reboot” and “Shutdown” action within the Monitor details.
We still do not provide remote shell, but it is possible to do so. If you think there is a need for that, please post a new suggestion on the forum.
new functionality for a playlist: a button to automatically fill a playlist with all the videos in random order1 vote
This is now available using Tag-based Playlists. You can create a Playlist that includes all Media. Media are shuffled every time you push to players.
Soon, we will be adding random playback support, so this will also be available. Subscribe to this idea to get notified: http://support.yodeck.com/forums/301815-general/suggestions/17295688-container-clip-for-random-media
Assign a show to multiple monitors with one click.4 votes
This is already available. You can select all of your monitors and click any blue edit button on any of the selected items in the list. You will be presented with a form that allows you to change configuration for all monitors.
We are also providing a separate button for this, so that it can be seen easily.
It would be useful to have an Wifi-signal strength indicator on the Status -page. Also the name of the currently used Wifi-network name would be useful.3 votes
This info is now available in the Status page of the Monitor.
We are also planning to add WiFi scanning and other tools through the web portal, but that won’t come until late 2018.
When you have several PDFs in the media library, they all look the same in the playlist and available files in the library.
I like that I can easily identify that the current item is a PDF, but as with videos, I'd like a preview of the first page or similar. As of now there's a lot of mouse hovering to identify what PDF is what.
I suggest a small PDF icon in the bottom right, and a preview of what the PDF contains.1 vote
We now provide thumbnails for all Documents (PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT).
We need to mask the wifi passwords...less privileged admins should never see this.7 votes
We have separated the part of the CMS-related device configuration, from the rest of the configuration that has to do with installation and networking. So, you can provide someone with access to devices without allowing them to mess around with network or other configuration.
It would be great to see what media are being used in the playlist. View the upload date and if it is in use, but in the playlist section.2 votes
A while back, we added this option but we forgot to update you! Sorry! When you click on a Media and you go into the editing form, at the bottom you can find a “See where this video/image/webpage/etc is being used” link. If you click it, it will show you a report of where this Media is being used.
The nice touch is that we did this for all items, including Playlists, Shows and Schedules. So, you can go to a Playlist, and clicking this link will show you if this Playlists where it is being used in Shows, Schedules or Monitors.

Editable Default Schedule Times?
Any chance of being able to set defaults for times in schedule? Currently when I drag something onto a date it defaults to midnight to midnight, so I always have to edit the times, even though I mainly use the same timings (e.g. 07:00 - 22:00)1 vote
This is available. Whenever a new entry is added, the last timeframe used will be the default one.
Any chance you could look at providing 2 factor authentication for access to the WebApp. Would be great for Whitelabel Partners4 votes
We now support 2-factor authentication using the Google Authenticator mobile app.
This feature is available in our Enterprise subscription plan. Check it out, all Plans (incl. Enterprise) are completely free for 1 Monitor!
Ability to manually set the resolution on the pi8 votes
You can now change the resolution, refresh rate and color depth (16/32-bit) using menus in the settings of each Player! Much easier.
PS: For doing advanced stuff, like configuring a custom resolution using CVT timings, you still need to do it using Raspberry Pi config.txt directives.
