A debug mode would be really useful
I think it could be useful to be able to debug memory / CPU usage of the various widgets on-screen at a given time. Whether this was real-time on-screen, or periodically logged to file, I think it'd be very helpful in tracking down opportunities for performance optimisation.

Auto-push when changes are released from the queue.
Mark changes to be pushed when done rendering. It sometimes takes hours for changes to make it through the queue and be ready to push. I'd like an option to have changes automatically push when ready.
4 votesMakes perfect sense, we will add it in a future release.

Chinese character?
are u support Chinese (simplified) in ticker?
1 voteYes, we do support Chinese (and other) character sets. By default, we have not included Chinese support because the fonts are really big and would use too much storage on the SD card.
If you need Chinese, please contact us and we will set up Chinese fonts in your Players.
Eventually, we do plan to include support for all characters. We will be changing the ticker rendering code to support HTML, so all fonts will be eventually supported with the best possible way.

Please, allow me to switch off "Are you sure?"
Please allow me to switch off "Are you sure you want to push all changes to players?"
Yes, I'm sure but if I get it wrong, it's my problem or I can put it back easily. People mostly press Yes automatically anyway, so what's the point? It actually takes away from really important messages like "You are about to delete ALL data - are you sure?"
Please give us a "Don't show this again".4 votesThe “Push to Players?” button will soon be modified to show a pop-up window. In this window, you will be given the option to schedule the push; you choose if you want to push now, or do the push on a specific date/time.
We will probably incorporate your suggestion in this new popup. In the meanwhile, we might also add it in the confirmation pop-up in a following release.

Google calendar data source
Google Calendar entries for a number of days (from current day only - or possibly current half-day only).
To be shown as a list of 1 or more scrolling (if necessary) entries or as a ticker. With configurable display elements date, time, title, description, where. Also configurable separators (like your ticker).
Example 1: I would use it for a "Welcome" list of today's (or morning/afternoon) visitors.
Example 2: Also for a list of upcoming exhibitions.
Using google as a source of times events allows anyone with access to that the ability to make Yodeck entries without getting into your quite…18 votesShowing calendar information is a frequently requested feature. We are planning to support ICS calendars with a Widget.
In the mean time, check out this article on how you can get a Google Calendar shown on a Yodeck screen: https://www.yodeck.com/news/how-to-get-your-google-calendar-on-a-wall-mounted-screen/

Create a widget store
I've developed a couple of widgets, and more will no doubt follow. It would be great to have somewhere to share them - either free or for a nominal charge, like the appstores for iPhone/android/the other one.
154 votesYes, we do plan to have a Widget marketplace. :-) It is great that you are interested in this, hope we have more Partners and people coming in and voting for this one!

We plan to add support for other scrolling Widgets, like feeds and more. We also plan to provide access to this through HTML5.
Please post comments with any ideas that you have.

Style Ticker with css
The ability to style ticker (expecially rss one) with Css. Also including Google Font through css
6 votesRight now, the ticker is generated via a Python drawing library and the images are scrolled using the GPU. We plan to change this to HTML-based drawing of the ticker. We could then add an option for providing custom CSS styling for the text. I guess this should work fine for you.

Playlist/Shows Transitions
Moving from One Playlist to another in a schedule is not very clean right now. If the system can either pre-load the next playlist so that it behaves like a new clip, or hold a pre-defined slide so that the screen does not go black between changes.
9 votesWe have started working on this! Content transitions, either when pushing updated content or when changing content due to scheduling, will be dynamically loading, so content won’t go through that balck screen!
Stay tuned!

On screen key board widget with button to hide and open
Onscreen keyboard widget to interact with items on you display
3 votesYodeck has limited support for interactivity. Right now, you can build and upload HTML5 apps as Widgets, but they must not be placed as overlays in order for them to be interactive. Same goes for Web Pages.
An on-screen keyboard would be a nice addition. Given that this would require a touch screen, we would also have to implement an easy way to setup and calibrate touchscreens (can be done).
We are marking this feature as Accepted and we will see down the road how things progress.

Monitor alerts via Pushover
Would be awesome to be able to receive monitor status alerts via Pushover. Would be pretty simple to implement. User would enter their key and then they would receive notifications for all monitors on their account. This would be especially useful for me as a reseller.
https://pushover.net/faq#library-python
https://github.com/Thibauth/python-pushover7 votesWe plan to provide for more complex notifications settings. This will include mobile app notifications (not sure if it is going to be Pushover or our own app), custom email notifications, even SMS notifications.

Support left-to-right scrolling for right-to-left languages
Support right-to-left languages (like Arabic and Hebrew) for the RSS ticker
12 votesRTL support will be added soon.

Playlist "currently playing" and countdown
show screen number when playing items in playlist, now showing n of x , and possibly a timer couting down to next item.
2 votesShowing Playlist-level and item-level progress could be useful. Although not a high-priority, we will be adding this.
We are also adding native PDF support shortly, so this will be beneficial in case of text content.

GPIO support
We have Beamer they not hear on the CEC Command, they have only a Interface for Relais for commands, is there a way to use the gpio's to trigger 2 Relais on schedule start and at the end to off? At this time we have there 2 Raspberrys. One for Yodeck and one for a time based solution but in one device it would be great :D
Best wishes6 votesIf you want to use this for turning the beamer on/ and off, then you can create a custom power script. Whenever the “Turned Off” special Show is used, you would set the GPIO pin accordingly. Here are the details: https://www.yodeck.com/docs/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=327908
Overall, we plan to provide access to GPIO pins through Custom Widgets, so we are keeping this idea as accepted,

Provide a Player App for Android (for compatible Smart TVs, TV Boxes, Tablets and Smartphones)
Yodeck currently works only on the Raspberry Pi hardware platform. It would be great to have Yodeck on Android-powered devices.
32 votesWe do plan to provide a Yodeck Player app for Android. As you may understand, this requires a lot of effort. So, it might take several months until it gets completed. We target the end of 2017 for a first version, but it may well be 2018 until it gets released.

Add the ability to specify a specific number of days in a schedule.
Building on : http://support.yodeck.com/forums/301815-general/suggestions/13294017-weekday-filter
we would like it to be possible to specify a specific number of days for the "Every" field (recurrence).
Many restaurants use a menu that cycles either weekly, biweekly, triweekly, etc. (In most cases here we have a tri-weekly menu rotation). What would be great in the scheduler is to be able to schedule a show “Every Monday” or to repeat “Every 3rd Monday” for example. Microsoft Task Scheduler in Windows is an example of how this would work.28 votes -

API to connect to your subscription / Account / Management
Would be nice to have API access to your account in different ways.
Examples:
Get - Get access to your account data & configurations. Connect to the API to get configurations & information of your players.
POST - Send show commands to the API. to change between shows on different players.
Longshot.. But would be nice :p
62 votesOur whole backend (server) provides an RESTful HTTP API. This is currently used only by our UI, the User Interface that our users see on their screen.
This API needs to be documented and polished up, but it is (more or less) already usable for special purposes. We will just provide you with a access token.
We are planning to release a fully documented API spec within Q2-2017.

Custom background for Schedule.
When it changes from one show to another we go to black screen, it would be nice that the user can setup its own background instead of Black, could be colors or images.
22 votesTurns out that setting a solid color background or setting an image as a background is easy. We will provide this option soon.

Undo all changes since "Submit to Players?" was last clicked
Sometime, you do something and "Submit to Players?" turns red. And you log in a few days later, feeling nervous about what you actually did and why that button is red. It would be great if you could undo all the changes made on an account and revert it back to the last time the "Push to Players?" button was clicked, so it would "put out" the red button.
Initial Idea Submitted was: "Trash option for deleted media, playlist and shows. It gives the oportunity to restore back links which you delete accidentally."
5 votesWhile the initial idea of a trash bin for object is difficult to implement and has several implications, the current idea is very useful and will provide an extra level of safety for what is displayed on screen.
Also, it will eliminate the need for the automated email that are send to users leaving the “Push to Players?” button unclicked.
