Editable default times in Scheduler
Editable Default Schedule Times?
Any chance of being able to set defaults for times in schedule? Currently when I drag something onto a date it defaults to midnight to midnight, so I always have to edit the times, even though I mainly use the same timings (e.g. 07:00 - 22:00)1 voteThis is available. Whenever a new entry is added, the last timeframe used will be the default one.

Not show the PDF icon but preview of content
When you have several PDFs in the media library, they all look the same in the playlist and available files in the library.
I like that I can easily identify that the current item is a PDF, but as with videos, I'd like a preview of the first page or similar. As of now there's a lot of mouse hovering to identify what PDF is what.
I suggest a small PDF icon in the bottom right, and a preview of what the PDF contains.
1 voteWe now provide thumbnails for all Documents (PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT).

Automatic playlist fill
new functionality for a playlist: a button to automatically fill a playlist with all the videos in random order
1 voteThis is now available using Tag-based Playlists. You can create a Playlist that includes all Media. Media are shuffled every time you push to players.
Soon, we will be adding random playback support, so this will also be available. Subscribe to this idea to get notified: http://support.yodeck.com/forums/301815-general/suggestions/17295688-container-clip-for-random-media

Subfolders visible when creating playlist
If I can save videos in subfolders, I should be able to access those subfolders when making playlists. Otherwise, whats the point of subfolders?
1 voteYou need to enable the “Folder View” toggle on the top-right corner of the Playlist editor.
Go ahead and edit a playlist. If you enable the "Folder View toggle while in the editor, you will see a different user interface that allows you to use folder and manage higher number of Media easily.

CSS CUSTOMIZATION
Info about the CSS customization
1 voteWe provide full CSS customization. Out of the box, this is available as a feature to our Whitelabel reselling partners, so that they can use their own branding. We do not see frequent requests on CSS customization by direct customers for their own organization.
I am closing this request as completed, since it is already possible. If you need CSS customization, reach out to our tech support with your request and we may be able to accommodate it.

User Permissions
Per user folder permissions and possibly the ability to set default Media folder paths so a user who needs to work in a specific folder will have that open by default
1 voteThis is alread yprovided under our Enterprise Plan, that includes “Workspaces”. With Workspaces, you can setup containers and ssign content/media to these and assign Users with specific permissions on each.
You can read more in our manual here: https://www.yodeck.com/docs/display/YO/11.2+%5BEnterprise+Plan+only%5D+Workspaces

Status of the Download to the player on the Dashboard
We should have the Status of the content downloading to the player, Now its highly uncertain to know when it can happen.
1 voteThere is now a new icon in the “Monitors” listing that indicates the Content status on each Player. This allows you to see if everything is alright and Players have the latest content, even if they are currently offline.

Restrict media to player as relevant
My impression is that all media is pushed to all players. My most dynamic player may be overloading other players within my account that have a much simpler scope.
One player is a communication piece with multi media content. Other players are simple static images (digital menus.) Why push all the multimedia on to these simple scope devices?
1 votePlayers only download Media that they need to playback. Not ALL media from the account is downloaded to ALL Players. So, the behavior you are describing is exactly the behavior Yodeck provides.
Closing this suggestion as “Completed” since this is the behavior currently.

more widgets and allow to make your own custom html ones
allow for custom made html widgets that draw data from webpages
1 voteYou do have the ability to create your own Custom Widgets based on HTML.
Check out our guide here: https://www.yodeck.com/docs/display/YO/Custom+Widget+Developer%27s+Guide
We plan to provide a Widget marketplace down the road so that people creating Widgets can share them with other Yodeck users.
Closing this as “Completed” since this already exists.

Let us change network settings on the RaspberryPi using the RaspberryPi and not another device via the settings.txt file.
Give us the ability to access basic set up of the system settings on the RaspberryPi. Instead of making us need to use an additional system to edit the Settings text file. This will make it less of a hassle if I move the RaspberryPi from on location to another and need to change the network settings.
1 voteYeap, this is now available! You can scan for wiFi networks and connect easily. You can even edit the raw SETTINGS.txt file right there! No need to have a SD card reader anymore to configure network stuff!

In Google Calendar fallback
In Google Calendar it would be nice to have an option to make some sort of fallback
If using Google calendar and there are no internet it could show an image generated of the calendar every day.1 voteWe already provide the fallback mechanism using an image. This is just to show that the calendar that was supposed to appear, could not be loaded.
We are planning to provide better calendar support through custom designed Widgets in the near future, so this could be addressed there. In the mean time, I am marking this suggestion as completed, since we already provide a fallback image option. If you feel this is not sufficient, please reach out.

Ability to see where media is in use.
We would like to be able to see where content is in use. With multiple screens & users, we provide content for their use but do not know if it is copied/used in their playlists or shows. Being able to see that piece of media is in use would be helpful.
1 voteThis is already available! If you click to see the details of a Media, and you scroll all the way down, you will see a link saying “See where this Media is being used”. Clicking it will show you a report of where this Media is being used.
Let us know if you nee anything more than that!
