We have already released full support for Media Tags, which is the first step getting to Tag-based Playlists.

This sounds interesting. Really interesting.

It blends a bit with Campaign reporting feature. But we will probably do this as you describe it.

So, besides Playlists and SubPlaylists, you could have TagPlaylist (as you describe it).
