We now support USB 3G/4G/LTE USB dongles out of the box. We added a whole new tab in the “Monitor” details that allows you to configure everything that has to do with mobile broadband dongles.
If you face any difficulties getting it to work with your dongle, please connect your Player using a wired ethernet and reach out. We will then troubleshoot remotely.
Ability to have a Master Playlist that can play sub-playlists. (i.e. for Real Estate).

You will now have the ability to add Playlist as items in other Playlists.
Please note that this feature will be part of our new subscription plans, which will be announced shortly and enforced by end of Q1-2018. Until then, you can use this feature for free!
I suggest a simple weather widget that could be used on our displays. Nothing fancy - just the current weather and perhaps the next 5 days?99 votes
Since our previous release, we have made our new Weather Widgets available! The design is great, and we provide many options to customize it to your liking! And if you are up to it, you can use our Widget source code and API to create your very own Custom Weather Widget!
Drag and drop content upload. Better then trawling through files and folders.6 votes
You can now massively add Media by dragging them on the browser window when in the Media listing view!
No more searching around for your files through the dialog menus! Enjoy!
Would like ability to do basic effects like crossfades between images in a playlist. I can do this by making a video of slides and that works great, but a feature like this would be better.225 votes
All users now have beautiful and butter-smooth image-to-image transitions! Transitions work amazingly well in 1080p, but also work fine in 4K. Enjoy!
We will start investigating Video transitions as well down the road, so that you can have transitions between Video and Images. But this is a whole new chapter!

Here is how to get the ICS link for your calendar for different providers:
The ability to bring in real time data in the form of a customisable ticker and rss containers you can customise62 votes
The RSS ticker is now available on our production site! Go ahead and check it out!
The ticker is super smooth (GPU-powered) and quite flexible. You can add one or more entries, including static texts and RSS feeds.
You also have a few customization options:
- scrolling speed (in seconds edge-to-edge)
- font type
- font styling, color & transparency
- background color & transparency
You can also have more than 1 ticker on the same Show, it works great!
Please consider providing video wall support. 2x2 would be sufficient for our needs. Thanks!13 votes
Video-Wall with Yodeck are now possible! Here are the full instructions on how to set it up with Yodeck:
You use X+1 Players for supporting X number of screens (in any orientation or relative position, even asymmetric layouts) . The output of the “master” Player is connected to an HDMI-to-RTP device (LKV373A recommended), and all other Players will reproduce their respective part of the output.
We will soon add an easier way to setup the Video-Wall that will need much less configuration and fuss.
Perhaps could be done thru a HDMI to USB Input Device installed on the Player.19 votes
You can now use a Lenkeng LKV373A sender device to act as an HDMI-in port for your Players.
In the future, we might also be adding support USB DVB-T Tuners, depending on your how much this is requested by our users.
We have a number of websites that we want to display. Many of these are unable to be rendered using the Yodeck player but they render fine using a normal browser. Good example below:16 votes
We now support Chromium as a secondary Web rendering engine! It is faster than our standard web viewer and can optionally provide limited support for Flash.
Only restriction is that Chromium cannot be rendered on top of video Playlists or other overlays. We plan to change that really soon. We issued a new suggestion for those of you that want to be updated on that: http://support.yodeck.com/forums/301815-general/suggestions/19400362-ability-to-overlay-chromium-and-pdf-on-top-of-vide
Keep in mind that Chromium is much heavier and resource-hungry than standard Web Viewer. You should always try the standard web viewer first, if possible. Having multiple Playlist on screen using Chromium can place a lot of load on your Player and can cause trouble in the long-run.
Make it easier to schedule certain times for the entire week/month/year by giving a weekday filter, which would apply the playlist/item you are wanting to schedule to certain days of the week (IE, Mon-Fri/Mon-Sat)
Would also work for hours, for example, if I want to play a "Happy Hour Specials" playlist between 14:00-16:00 Tues-Thurs, I would only have to enter it once to perform such task.15 votes
The “Repeat: Daily” option now provides for 7 checkboxes, one for each day of the week.
Please can you let Players resolve internal network addresses so that we can display local web pages. At the moment we can only display web facing pages. E.g. local DNS setting3 votes
Sorry for the late notification. We have released an option that allows you to deactive the standard Google DNS servers we use by default. This way, only the internal DNS servers on your network will be used.
The CEC compatibility link is empty on several help pages.3 votes
We have since fixed the broken links. Here is the correct link:
Media are now is one listing per type. It would be nice to have folders in media, so that it is easier to manage large numbers of images.11 votes
We released a Folder View of the Media section, that allows creating folders and managing media and folders in the classical sense of files.
Add support for Yodeck retrieving a media file from a URL instead of having to download and upload to Yodeck
It would be great to have an option for providing an image file or a video file from a URL instead of uploading to Yodeck. Files would still be stored on Yodeck servers, but the user won't have to download the media and upload it to Yodeck servers.15 votes
This is now available! Yodeck can now fetch your files from a URL you provide.
Soon, we will also support connecting a Yodeck Playlist with a Google Drive folder or Dropbox, or other storage providers as well.
Adding monitor groups would allow a user to group monitors and massively assign schedules to them.9 votes
We have released tag-based management of monitors, so mass management is possible. And you can treat tags exactly like groups.
We will also add an option to “pin” several tags to the monitor’s list, so that you can have quick click-only access to some favorite groups.
When playing a playlist of images or videos, the content is cropped to cover the whole area specified in the show editor. There should be an option to fit content inside the area. This way, when showing both landscape-sized and portrait-sized content in the same playlist, they will not be cropped and everything will show up correctly.3 votes
Some pages may not look nice when used in a hi-res display through Yodeck. Adding a zoom factor will allow to modify the page so that it is more readable.1 vote

A new option is now available under Web Page Media to allow for saving session/cookies data across reboots.
