  2. Live preview needed

    Live preview of what is currently showing on a given monitor would be very helpful (not random screenshots). Otherwise one must physically go to the monitor to see what is showing/how widgets are rendering.

    This is now on our Beta site! On June 19th, we will be providing the ability to Preview a Layout or a Playlist right inside your Yodeck account, without having a device! Most of the Media types will work out of the box (Videos, Images, texts, shapes, and more), while some types of content will be emulated in order to display how the content will look like when shown on a screen!

    Hi there!

    We have implemented Playlist syncing! This will be made available to select users after our production release scheduled for June 18th! You now have the option to activate syncing on a per Playlist basis, and synced Playlists will be synchronized across all Players.

    We are still testing, so this will likely be made available to all customers in the Yodeck Portal in the following release, scheduled for Aug 30th. So, if you are up to it, drop us a message and we will activate it for you now!

  4. Provide transition effects

    Would like ability to do basic effects like crossfades between images in a playlist. I can do this by making a video of slides and that works great, but a feature like this would be better.

    Beta users now have beautiful and butter-smooth image-to-image transitions, and this will be made available to all users on our next release scheduled for June 19th, 2021!

    After we release that, we will then start investigating Video transitions as well, so that you can have transitions between Video and Images. But this is a whole new chapter. We will likely focus this suggestion exclusively on image-to-image transition.
